About the Author
Sam Fairbrass is an English author who specialises in dark supernatural thrillers and horror.
He grew up in the small town of Calne in the southernmost reaches of the UK and at the age of twenty-four he moved to Southampton. It was here that he published his first novel: Zombie Nexus - later rebranded as Dayz End.
After completing a foundation degree in music: performing, production and practice, he decided he preferred writing songs over performing and teaching. He has written lyrics to several songs that have received high praise in the rock community.
He has written many short stories and some have even been published in local anthologies, to high acclaim. Including a local anthology named ‘not just bacon’.
Although his primary genre is horror, he has written many other stories within genres such as fantasy, sci-fi and even published several poems.
Sam is currently writing a sequel to both Dayz End and SLEEPER and a fantasy story that is as of yet untitled.
His biggest influences are:
Lee Mountford, H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, James Herbert, Dean Koontz and Clive Barker
